Pillar Weekly Update 7.25.23

Hello Pillar Family!

Sports Camp is around the corner! Learn how you can connect in prayer, service, and preparation.

How to Pray
1. Pray for Lofstofan Church in Reykjavik, Iceland to be encouraged by the fruit of their outreach efforts. Ask for boldness for our Iceland Missions Team as they run their STEM Camp for local youth.
2. Pray over the logistics and spiritual impact of Sports & Arts Camp as we prepare for next week.
3. Come join us 9:30 am Sunday morning to pray for our service, our leaders, and our congregation. Meet us in room 1108 !

How to Serve
1. Next week is Pillar Sports & Arts Camp! We have 150+ kids registered for camp and more than 75% of them are from non-church families in our community. Join our team for this opportunity to serve, share the gospel, and make a difference. Sign up HERE to volunteer. Register your kids as campers HERE
2. Support our recent church plant Pillar Norfolk by joining the Norfolk Mission Trip – August 24-25. This team will be providing childcare for a Parents Night Out outreach to military families in the Norfolk community. Sign up HERE

How to Prepare
1.
Our Greatest Hits summer sermon series continues this Sunday in Joshua 1:9. I encourage you to read the full chapter this week!

What to Know

2. Help us connect with the families of our Sports & Arts Camp campers by joining us for our Friday Family Night – August 4 @ 6 pm at Potomac Shores Middle School. This fellowship with our community is an excellent way to serve if you cannot volunteer during the week!
