My name is Kenny Delevante. I am from Northern Virginia where I was born and raised. I currently attend Liberty University where I am studying to receive a Bachelor of Music Degree with a specialization in Worship Studies. Next year will be my senior year, and if all goes according to plan, I will be graduating in the spring of 2017. One requirement that is necessary for the completion of my degree is that I take part in an internship program over the span of a summer. After praying for the right opportunity to arise, I truly believe that God has opened the door to great opportunity this summer that allows me to complete my requirement while serving in a ministry that I really believe in.

I feel extremely blessed to announce that from May 15 to August 10, I will be working in an internship overseas with an Icelandic Church Plant named Loftstofan. The church is located in the capital city of Reykjavik where 2/3 of the people of Iceland live. Besides gaining practical work experience that will be applicable to my future, much more importantly I am being given the privilege to serve the church, be involved in music and worship ministry, and ultimately spread the message of the Gospel. I am so excited about this opportunity, and am looking forward to seeing what God will do with my time there.

In order to cover the expenses for this summer project and support this young church plant in it’s mission, I am working to raise $4500 to cover the cost. The funds will be used to provide airfare, baggage, lodging, public transportation, and living expenses. If you would like to be part of this mission through your financial support, you can donate by clicking the button above.

In addition to financial support I would also sincerely be thankful for your prayers in this time, that God would give me the strength and ability to do His will during this experience. I ask that you pray for the people I will encounter in Iceland to be open to the gospel and those I serve alongside to be encouraged. Join me in prayer that broken lives will be restored by the Love of Jesus Christ. Below you can sign up to receive updates and send notes of encouragement and prayers.

Thank you,

Kenny
